AI stands
for Artificial Intelligence, which is defined as the ability of computers to
work and think like humans, to learn, problem-solve and understand language. It
affects usual consumer electronics such as mobile phones, and complex
applications like robotics.
Types
of AI
Narrow AI (Weak AI): Clarify that this type is intended for solving a
particular problem, for example, as voice assistants (Siri, Alexa), or a
recommendation system (Netflix, Amazon).
General AI: Explain the concept of AI that is able to solve any problem that a
human mind is capable of solving. Note that this is still just theoretical and
it is an active area of research.
Superintelligent AI: Provide a short definition of the concept of artificial
intelligence beyond human-level cognition and its potential, which is rather
futuristic.
How AI Works
Machine
Learning: Explain how AI systems are designed to learn from data with the help
of algorithms. Add that as an increasing number of pieces of information pass
through the system, a higher level of optimization arises for accomplishing the
tasks.
Neural Networks and Deep Learning: Explain that neural networks are developed
with the purpose of recognizing certain patterns in the data and show that they
are the foundation of deep learning.
Natural Language Processing (NLP):Describe how AI is also capable of
interpreting human language and how this makes technologies such as chatbots
and virtual assistants possible.
etc...
Applications
of AI
Healthcare:
Explain how artificial intelligence helps in diagnosing diseases, creating
individualized treatment plans, and improving medical research.
Finance: Explain the use of AI in areas such as fraud and risk management,
algorithmic trading, and intelligent assistive chatbots.
Transportation: Discuss the effects of AI on the models of self-driving
automobiles and the supply chain network.
Entertainment: Briefly explain how AI is used in applications and services such
as Netflix, Spotify, and gaming.
